Many times, for many reasons, important information about your business or community is lost. Staffs change, plans and reports are shelved and, frequently, these documents are forgotten.
There’s a different way to think about this information because it represents time, money and peoples’ ideas. At some point, your community or organization felt that this was an important step to take. The information is valuable and part of the community’s collective memory. And, even if the suggestions in the report are not implemented, there might be information that informs what you are doing today.
The more these documents can be digitized and centrally organized for your communications and funding–the more time and money will be saved by having reference points of budgets, summaries and historic documents that still remain relevant. The great part is, the work has already been done!
